What each month page lists

Every month page has one table in date order. An Ekadashi row gives the fast day and the parana, the window on the next morning in which the fast is broken. A Purnima or Amavasya row gives the lunar month and the exact start and end of the tithi, because the full moon and the new moon are tithis, not calendar days: one can begin in the evening and end the next afternoon. A festival row links the festival's own page, where its rule and its date in other cities are explained.

Why the dates are for Delhi

A tithi begins at the same moment everywhere, but the day of a fast or a festival is chosen by the local sunrise, so a city far east or west of Delhi can keep the same festival a day earlier or later. Delhi is the reference city of most Indian almanacs. For your own city open its Ekadashi page or its daily panchang, which show the dates and times in local time.

How the dates were checked

The Ekadashi days follow the Vaishnava rule and were compared with a published ISKCON calendar; the festival dates follow the Smarta rules as Drik Panchang publishes them; the Purnima and Amavasya moments come from the same calculation that draws the charts on this site: the moment the Moon is 168° and 180° ahead of the Sun for the full moon, 348° and 360° for the new moon.
