Panchang widget for your website

Put today's panchang on your own site with one line of HTML. The widget is a small strip with the day's Rahu kalam, Yamaganda, Gulika, Abhijit muhurta and Amrit kalam for a city of your choice. It is free, has no script, no cookie and no third party, and updates itself every day.

How to add it

Copy the code below into the page where the strip should appear and change the language and the city in the address if you need another. The strip adapts to the colours of your page (light or dark) and is 420 pixels high; make the iframe as wide as the column it sits in.

The widget shows a small Powered by JyotiSoft link that opens the city's full panchang. That link is the whole price: please keep it.

What it shows

The strip is the same day the panchang page of the city shows, drawn as a band: the unfavourable periods (Rahu kalam, Yamaganda, Gulika), the good ones (Abhijit muhurta, Amrit kalam) and the sunrise and sunset, all in the city's local time and counted from its own sunrise. The data comes from the same engine as the rest of the site, so it matches the city pages to the minute.

Choosing the city and the language

The address of the widget is /widget/panchanga/<language>/<city>. Use the generator to pick any of the cities of the panchang hub and the language, see the result and copy the finished code. Several widgets for several cities can stand on one page.

Questions

Is the widget free?
Yes. It is free for any website, personal or commercial. The only condition is to keep the small link to JyotiSoft that the widget shows.
Does it use cookies or scripts?
No. The widget is a plain page with its own style: no script, no cookie, no tracker and no third-party request, so it does not change your own cookie banner or page speed.
How often does it update?
Every day for the city's local date. The day is counted from the city's own sunrise, so the times differ by city and shift by a minute or two from day to day.
Can I change the colours or the size?
The strip follows the light or dark scheme of the visitor's browser. The height is 420 pixels in the code; the width follows the iframe you give it.
