Ekadashi 2027: fast days by city
Ekadashi falls twice a month: 25 fast days in 2027. The date depends on where you are, because the rule looks at the dawn and the sunrise of your own city. Pick your city for its dates and for the parana, the time to break the fast, in local time. Below: all the Ekadashis of the year in one table.

The table gives the day on which Ekadashi falls in most of the 20 cities on this site; cities with another date are named under it. Open your city for its own page, with the parana time.

How the date is decided
The rule used here is the Vaishnava one (the ISKCON GBC calendar committee's): the fast is kept on the day when the Ekadashi tithi is current at arunodaya, 96 minutes before sunrise. If Dashami still touches that dawn, the fast moves to the next day; in four Mahadvadashi cases it falls on Dvadashi. The Smarta tradition decides by the sunrise and sometimes names another day. If your community follows a particular calendar, follow it. The general explanation: what Ekadashi is.
Parana: when and how the fast is broken
Parana is the breaking of the fast: the next morning, after sunrise, once the first quarter of Dvadashi (Hari Vasara) has passed and before Dvadashi ends. The tables give the window in the city's local time. An entry such as “after 12:56” means that Ekadashi or Hari Vasara is still running at sunrise and the fast is broken after that time. The traditional fast avoids grains and pulses; the strict form (nirjala) is without water. Strict forms are not advised for people with health conditions, pregnant women and children; decide with a doctor.
How the dates were checked
Every date and time comes from the same calendar engine as the JyotiSoft Mini App: sunrise, tithis and the Vaishnava rules are calculated, not typed in. For 20 cities we compared the result with two independent sources. Drik Panchang's published ISKCON Ekadashi list: 499 of 500 dates agree and 1 differs by one day (Delhi: 12 September here, 11 September in that calendar). GCal, the calendar program of the ISKCON GBC committee (its published calendars for 15 of these cities and a run of its own code for all 20): all 500 dates agree. The parana times agree within five minutes except one Mahadvadashi in Chișinău.
Why the calendars part: Delhi: a nakshatra Mahadvadashi (Vijaya: the Shravana nakshatra holds at two sunrises in a row and Shukla Dvadashi at sunrise and sunset). This table and GCal apply it and put the fast on 12 September; Drik does not apply it here and shows 11 September. When a tithi or a nakshatra begins or ends close to dawn, calendars can differ by a day.
