Will I find the lost item: the JyotiSoft prashna answer

This is the Navigator question “Will I find the lost item”. It is a horary (prashna) reading: a chart cast for the moment you ask, in which the house of the thing you lost is chosen by what it is (the 2nd for valuables, the 4th for something at home, and so on). You get one verdict in words and a direction in which to look. Below is what the answer contains and what it never does.

What the answer contains

  1. Diagnostics. Is the chart fit to judge, then the house that stands for the item and where its lord sits, and the Moon as the item's current “place”.
  2. The answer. WILL BE FOUND, LIKELY FOUND or WILL NOT BE FOUND, the verdict from the calculation in words, plus where to look, taken from the sign and house of the lord of the item's house.

What it is calculated from

A horary (prashna) answer is read from a chart cast for the moment you ask the question, not from your birth data. It reads the chart of the moment of your question: the radicality, the house chosen by what was lost, its lord with the sign and house where that lord stands, and the Moon. The sign and house of the lord give the direction to look in.

What the answer never does

The verdict is computed before the answer is written; the answer explains and softens it, says that the chart is mixed if its reading leans the other way and never overturns it. It uses only the sign and house relations that the calculation lists. If you did not say what was lost, it reads the item as a valuable (the 2nd house) and says so in one line instead of asking. The direction is a pointer for your search, not an address.

If you do not know the birth time

It does not matter: a horary chart is cast for the moment you ask, so the answer does not depend on your birth time at all.
