Navigator questions
Where to place money? The JyotiSoft chart answer
This is the Navigator question “Where to place money”. The answer comes in the @JyotiSoftBot bot and is built from your own chart: which channel suits money you already have, whether the chart supports gain from placed money, where it tends to leak, and a window tied to the running period with one step for this month. It reads the person, not the market. Below is what the answer contains and what it never does.
Ask this question in the bot
The answer is built from your own chart and arrives in @JyotiSoftBot. It is a paid topic: the price in stars is shown in the bot. Your chart itself and the calculators on this site are free.
What the answer contains
- Your natural channel. Three candidates weighed against each other, with one named as primary: the 4th house and its lord (land, housing, fixed assets), the 5th and its lord (the market, papers, anything speculative), the 7th and 9th and their lords (partnership, someone else's venture, distant ventures). The decision rests on the lord's dignity, its strength rank and its navamsa condition, cross-checked against the Hora (D-2): wealth built by your own push or wealth that gathers quietly. The answer also says which of the other two is the weaker fit.
- Whether the chart supports gain from placed money. The 2nd house (what is kept) and the 11th (what is realised as gain), their lords and any Dhana yoga actually listed. A link between the 5th and 11th lords — conjunction, mutual aspect or exchange of signs — is the classical marker for gain from money that works rather than from labour: the answer says whether it is present or absent. The Ashtakavarga support of the 2nd and 11th is given as a class — strong, medium or weak — never as a raw count.
- Where the money leaks. The 8th house and its lord (other people's money, sudden reversals), the 12th (outflow), afflictions to the 2nd or 11th lord and Ketu in a money house. One repeating pattern, described as behaviour in plain language: a zone of attention, not a prophecy of ruin.
- Window, and one step. The running period with its exact dates and whether it is ruled by a lord of the 2nd, 5th or 11th, then the transits of Jupiter and Saturn over those houses. A window tied to the period, never one date; and one concrete step for this month leaning on a strong planet.
What it is calculated from
The same calculation as your chart in the bot and the Mini App: sidereal zodiac, Lahiri ayanamsha, whole-sign houses. It uses the 4th, 5th, 7th and 9th houses with their lords (dignity, strength rank, navamsha (D-9)), the Hora (D-2), the 2nd and 11th houses and any Dhana yoga listed (Raja and Dhana yogas), the Ashtakavarga support of the 2nd and 11th as a class, the 8th and 12th houses, the house of Ketu and the running period with the transits of Jupiter and Saturn (the Vimshottari dasha). Only the yogas, aspects and strengths that are in the calculation are read.
What the answer never does
The answer never names a specific instrument, ticker, coin, company, fund, bank or currency, and never says “buy”, “sell” or “hold”: it reads a person, not a market. It never promises a return, a percentage or a sum, and never says that money will or will not be lost: tendencies and windows only. If you ask whether one particular deal will work, it says that a natal chart reads the person, not the deal, and points to a horary question for that. If the chart does not support placing money anywhere right now, it says so directly and kindly — that is a legitimate and useful answer.
If you do not know the birth time
Say so: the answer then states in one sentence that what rests on the houses and the rising sign softens, while the signs of the planets and the dates of the periods hold. You can see first how much depends on the time in the free chart calculator (tick “Time unknown”), and read a chart without a birth time.
