How to get a promotion? The JyotiSoft chart answer

What the answer contains

1. Where you grow. The 10th house and its ruler, and the Sun for authority: which resource to lean on when speaking with leadership.
2. The current period. The mahadasha and antardasha and the transits of Jupiter and Saturn to the 10th house and to the Sun: does the time support a career push.
3. The step. One concrete move for the next 30–60 days, leaning on a strong planet, and what to shore up so the window works.

What it is calculated from

The same calculation as your chart in the bot and the Mini App: sidereal zodiac, Lahiri ayanamsha, whole-sign houses. It uses the 10th house and its ruler, the Sun, the running mahadasha and antardasha (the Vimshottari dasha) and the transits of Jupiter and Saturn over the 10th and the Sun.

What the answer never does

The answer names a move, not an outcome. It does not promise a promotion, a post or a raise: the company, the market and your own work decide that, and an honest reading says whether the time supports a push or whether to prepare first.

If you do not know the birth time

Say so: the answer then states in one sentence that what rests on the houses and the rising sign softens, while the signs of the planets and the dates of the periods hold. You can see first how much depends on the time in the free chart calculator (tick “Time unknown”), and read a chart without a birth time.
