12 months from today: the JyotiSoft chart answer

What the answer contains

1. The storyline. The running mahadasha and antardasha, what they put in the foreground, and whether the antardasha changes inside the twelve months, with its end date from the calculation.
2. Expansion. Where Jupiter's transit opens a door in your chart, with its window.
3. Restructuring. Where Saturn's transit asks for work, and the Rahu–Ketu axis: which area is being transformed. Without catastrophising.
4. Windows and dates. A calendar of three or four windows across the twelve months, starting with the current month, each with one concrete recommendation; every window is a stretch between two dates carried by the calculation.
5. One step now. One practical step for the coming weeks that leans on a strong point of your chart.

What it is calculated from

The same calculation as your chart in the bot and the Mini App: sidereal zodiac, Lahiri ayanamsha, whole-sign houses. It uses the running mahadasha and antardasha with their end dates and the periods that follow (the Vimshottari dasha), the slow transits with their entry and exit dates over the next twelve months, what they touch in your chart and whether the running dasha agrees with them, and the house lords. It names only the yogas, aspects and strengths that the calculation carries.

Windows, not a date

The frame is the next twelve months from today, which may cross into the next year; the answer does not hang the reading on a calendar year. A window is a stretch between two dates, never a single day and never a date the calculation does not carry. It shows themes and windows, not events. If you want the year counted from your birthday, that is a different question: Year ahead (solar return).

If you do not know the birth time

Say so: the answer then states in one sentence that what rests on the houses and the rising sign softens, while the signs of the planets and the dates of the periods hold. You can see first how much depends on the time in the free chart calculator (tick “Time unknown”), and read a chart without a birth time.

Questions next to this one
