How often it forms

What it describes

The Moon is the mind; planets beside it are its company. Without them, the texts say, a person may feel unsupported, struggle with steady income, or carry a sense of loneliness, even in a busy life. Read today, this is a description of a mind that has to build its own support rather than inherit it.

Why it is rarer than people think

Many websites call Kemadruma whenever the 2nd and 12th from the Moon are empty. That happens often. The classics then list ways it is cancelled: planets in the angles from the lagna or the Moon, a strong or aspected Moon, Jupiter's aspect. Our engine already applies the angle cancellation, and that is why the yoga drops to about one chart in a hundred.

If it is in your chart

Look at the Moon's strength (phase, sign, aspects), the dasha periods of planets linked to the Moon, and the houses where support does exist. People with this yoga often become remarkably self-reliant. Steady routines, trusted relationships and work that gives a sense of belonging are the practical answer. Paid rituals to “remove” it are later commerce, not classical teaching.
