What the period is about

Venus signifies the partner, pleasure, the arts, vehicles, luxury and diplomacy. In its period people tend to seek harmony and enjoyment, refine their taste, and invest in relationships and the home. Careers in design, fashion, music, hospitality, finance and anything that sells beauty often flourish in a strong Venus dasha.

What decides the results

A Venus in its own signs (Taurus, Libra) or exalted in Pisces tends to give a generous period; debilitated in Virgo or combust, it may bring the same themes with more effort or disappointment. The lagna changes a lot: for Capricorn and Aquarius ascendants Venus is the yogakaraka, and its dasha can be the best of a life; for Scorpio and Pisces lagnas it rules difficult houses, and its pleasures come with lessons.
