Ask your own question: how the JyotiSoft answer works

What the answer contains

1. Your question is read. The answer starts from your own words, not from a form.
2. The technique is chosen. The question is placed with one of five techniques: natal interpretation, a transit forecast, prashna, electional timing or synastry.
3. A natal question. If it fits natal interpretation, you get one connected answer in three or four sections, written by the same rules as every other answer.
4. A question for another technique. If it needs another technique (a yes or no prashna, the choice of a date, a comparison with another person), the answer says so at the start and suggests the right section of the menu. It names the section and never promises a specific option inside it that it was not told exists.
5. A question outside astrology. If the question is not about astrology, the answer gently brings you back into scope.

What it is calculated from

The same calculation as your chart in the bot and the Mini App: sidereal zodiac, Lahiri ayanamsha, whole-sign houses. For a natal question it reads your birth chart and, for a forecast, the running periods (the Vimshottari dasha) and the transits. For a prashna, a date or a comparison it does not answer from the birth chart: it points to the section built for that. How timing questions are answered in general: when will it happen?.

What the answer never does

The answer never passes a prashna, a choice of date or a comparison with another person off as a natal reading: it says so and points to the right section instead. It names a section of the menu but never promises an option inside it that it was not told exists. A question outside astrology is returned to scope gently, not answered.

If you do not know the birth time

Say so: the answer then states in one sentence that what rests on the houses and the rising sign softens, while the signs of the planets and the dates of the periods hold. You can see first how much depends on the time in the free chart calculator (tick “Time unknown”), and read a chart without a birth time.
