By Moon sign

The house from your Moon sign (rashi) in which the event falls.

Moon sign	House from the Moon	What it touches
Aries (Mesha)	4	Home, mother and peace of mind come to the fore. Texts call it mixed: take care with property deals and keep the home calm.
Taurus (Vrishabha)	3	A quieter Jupiter: efforts may take more time and plans may shift. A steady routine, short courses and time with siblings can help.
Gemini (Mithuna)	2	One of Jupiter's good houses: money, family and speech tend to improve. A good time to save, study and mend family ties.
Cancer (Karka)	1	Jupiter crosses your Moon sign. Classical texts count this as a less easy place: more duties and restlessness; keep health and spending steady.
Leo (Simha)	12	Expenses, travel abroad and retreat. Spend on what matters, rest and practise: good for spiritual work, not for big bets.
Virgo (Kanya)	11	One of Jupiter's traditionally favourable houses: income, friends, networks and longer-term goals. A good time to make thoughtful requests, apply for opportunities and review income plans.
Libra (Tula)	10	Career and status may shift. Texts call this mixed: work steadily, stay humble with superiors and let progress take its time.
Scorpio (Vrishchika)	9	A favourable Jupiter: teachers, dharma, long journeys, father and fortune. Pilgrimage, higher study and generosity are well supported.
Sagittarius (Dhanu)	8	A more demanding house for Jupiter: shared finances and energy may need care. Keep a reserve, compare terms before borrowing, and use the time for research.
Capricorn (Makara)	7	A favourable Jupiter: partnership, marriage talks, contracts and public dealings are supported. Meet people, sign with care.
Aquarius (Kumbha)	6	The 6th house is traditionally less favourable for Jupiter from the Moon: workload, debts and disputes may need attention. Keep helpful health routines and work through old tasks.
Pisces (Mina)	5	A favourable Jupiter: children, creativity, study, mantra and good advice. A classic time for learning and for new projects.

Why Jupiter comes back

Jupiter entered Leo on 31 October 2026 (see Jupiter in Leo), but on 13 December it turned retrograde only 2°47′ into the sign. Moving backwards, it crosses the border into Cancer on 24 January 2027. It turns direct on 13 April and leaves Cancer for Leo again on 25 June.

Exalted Jupiter

Parashara gives Cancer as the sign where Jupiter is exalted (uccha), with the deepest point at 5°. Exaltation is a classical dignity, not a guarantee of a specific outcome. Jupiter is associated with wisdom, teachers, children, faith, savings and good counsel. This time it moves only between 22° and 30° of Cancer, inside Ashlesha, which tradition links with insight and complexity. Treat that symbolism as a prompt for reflection, not a prediction.

Who feels it most

From the Moon sign, Jupiter is classically favourable in the 2nd, 5th, 7th, 9th and 11th houses (Phaladeepika, chapter 26). With Jupiter in Cancer these are Moon in Gemini (2nd), Pisces (5th), Capricorn (7th), Scorpio (9th) and Virgo (11th). For Moon in Cancer Jupiter crosses the Moon itself. The table below gives one line for each Moon sign; read it with your dasha.

Mars joins in March

From 9 March to 26 April Mars is in Cancer with Jupiter. Mars turns direct before leaving, while Jupiter turns direct during their shared stay. Mars is debilitated there and Jupiter exalted. How this conjunction is read depends on the house from your Moon and your dasha; it does not promise a particular result.
