Nakshatras

Pushya, the nourishing star, is the classic for beginnings of every kind. With it: Hasta — skill of the hands and trade; Anuradha — friendship and partners; Uttara Phalguni and Uttara Ashadha — lasting results; Shravana — learning and reputation. Ashlesha, Magha and Jyeshtha are refused: they bring conflict, pride and struggles for power.

Weekday

Thursday, the day of Jupiter — the planet of prosperity and right growth — is favoured. Saturday counts against the day: Saturn slows starts. Other days are neutral and are decided by the nakshatra and the tithi.

Tithi and periods

As for every event, the empty (rikta) tithis — the 4th, 9th and 14th — and Amavasya count against the day. A business is not launched in Pitru Paksha, Kharmas, an intercalary month, or while Venus or Jupiter is combust.

Which moment to choose

Registration, the opening of the doors, the first sale — choose the step that is truly the beginning for you, and keep it out of Rahu kalam. The 10th house of your own chart shows your profession in general.

Questions

Is the waxing Moon required?
It helps through the tithis of the bright half, but there is no separate ban: a strong nakshatra and weekday can carry a day in the dark half.
What about launching a website or an app?
The same rules apply — it is the beginning of an enterprise. The moment is the public launch.
Do both partners need to check their charts?
For the general date, no. For the final choice, it helps to check the day against the founder's birth Moon in the app.
