Yogas
Shasha yoga (Saturn)
Shasha (also written Sasa) is the Mahapurusha yoga of Saturn. It forms when Saturn is in its own sign or exalted and stands in an angle, and it describes endurance, organisation and authority that grows over time.
How the JyotiSoft engine checks it
Saturn in Capricorn or Aquarius (its own signs) or in Libra (its exaltation), standing in the 1st, 4th, 7th or 10th house counted from the lagna.

What it gives
The texts give the Shasha native command over people, land and institutions, earned through persistence. Modern expressions include administrators, judges, builders, politicians, engineers and anyone who leads large structures patiently. The success is typically late and solid.
What makes it strong
In the 10th, Saturn gives a career of responsibility; in the 7th, a serious, enduring partnership and often public service; in the 4th, land and property; in the 1st, a disciplined, reserved character. For Taurus and Libra ascendants Saturn is the yogakaraka, which makes Shasha especially valuable there. Saturn's nineteen-year dasha is when the yoga matures.
Living with it
Shasha rewards patience and integrity, and it is unforgiving of shortcuts. The classical caution concerns hardness of heart: authority held long can grow cold. Service to those with less is the traditional balance.
